The program that I am learning in school is called Connected Math. Connected Math isn’t really hard as it looks. Anybody can use this program really, except for little kids of course. It’s basically an investigative approach that helps you learn math.

In this program, so far we learned how to divide fractions, decimals, and mixed numbers. Also, we learned how to find the area and perimeter of a triangle and other shapes like nonagon, heptagon, octagon, hexagon, pentagon, and a decagon. In this unit were are currently studying probability for example you learn what are the chances of Jamie pulling out a red block when there is ten blocks, 3 are blue, 3 are yellow, and 3 are red.

In our notebooks/ binders we have three different sections one is called homework. That is were we put all our homework that we have or did.
Then we have another section called class work. This is where we do all our work, and then lastly we have, assignments.
In this section we have all our tests and graded assignments.
Even though math is kind of hard, I still had a lot of fun with my friends, I studied a little, and it is my best grade. I learned if you can’t figure out a problem skip it and come back to it later, oh and DON’T RUSH! Take your time, you’ll get it. I’ll miss this school when I’m in middle school, but I’ll always have my favorite math teacher in my heart.
